Health Research, Inc. (HRI), a not-for-profit corporation, seeks a Program Development Consultant. The consultant will be responsible for creating a toolkit that outlines how to replicate an opioid overdose intervention currently offered in New York. Activities will include a review of programmatic documents, interviews with key stakeholders from several governmental agencies involved in the program and the development of the toolkit that presents processes, lessons learned and recommendations for expansion and replication.
The Program Development Consultant should have experience researching and/or evaluating innovative interventions to prevent morbidity or mortality of high-risk populations. Experience should include evaluation of initiatives that serve people who use drugs, preferably from a harm reduction framework and addressing the current opioid epidemic and high rates of overdose as well as experience conducting qualitative data analysis. Familiarity with the opioid overdose burden in New York State is preferred.
