HRI has issued a revised equipment policy. Some of the changes are as follows:
- The definition for Expendable Equipment has changed to now include only computer purchases less than $5,000.
- New category of Taggable Supplies – This is for internal tracking of iPads, iPhones, Blackberrys, cell phones, tablets, etc.
- Removed category for Office Furniture. Office furniture with an acquisition cost of $5,000 or more is now classified as equipment whereas items with an acquisition cost of less than $5,000 are classified as supplies.
