To ensure compliance with NIH Research Security Training (RST) requirements, HRI has released an updated version of the HRI-50 Proposal Approval Form to our website Forms page. This revision includes a required section for NIH and/or NSF sponsored projects that are subject to RST requirements, in accordance with NOT-OD-26-017: Research Security Training Requirements for NIH.
For proposals and projects requiring RST certification, HRI requests that Principal Investigators and all senior/key personnel included in the application submit their RST certificates at the time of application. Please note that RST requirements apply to applications with due dates on or after May 25, 2026.
Effective today, please begin using this version of the HRI-50. If you have any questions, please contact your HRI Grant Administrator.
