HRI wants to share some changes in the structure of its Corporate Office. HRI has created the Corporate Compliance Department effective July 30, 2015. This new department will be headed by Tammy Young, who will utilize her 23 years of HRI experience to help move the Corporation forward in meeting the ongoing demands of Corporate compliance, training and education. In this role, Tammy will work with both Divisions of the Corporation to ensure all required policies are up to date and consistently implemented. She will make recommendations for changes where needed as well as work with departments and programs to address any potential training development needs. She will be responsible for heading up the review and update of policies/procedures related to the new Uniform Guidance. Subrecipient Monitoring and Internal Audit functions will be realigned with this new department under Ms. Young.
With the implementation of this new function, Operations staff will move under the Finance/Accounting Department, which will be renamed the Controller’s Office, and will report up through the Assistant Director, James Lieberman and Teresa Makarowsky in her new role as Controller. James and Teresa have a combined 28 years’ experience at HRI and have extensive background with federal regulations and reporting. All Operations staff responsibilities and contact information remain unchanged.
