An update from the HRI Executive Director:
I would like to share news that I have decided to retire after 32.5 years of State/HRI service. It has truly been an honor to work with so many of you over the past 22 plus years either in my prior DOH role with the Wadsworth Center, or more recently, as Executive Director for HRI. My last day with HRI will be on July 29, 2015.
I am happy to say that my departure will be seamless for all of you as Cheryl Mattox, HRI’s Director of Corporate Finance, has graciously and enthusiastically agreed to succeed me as the next Executive Director of HRI. Cheryl has 18.5 years of experience in the HRI corporate office and strong familiarity with Department of Health programs. With the support and guidance of the Health Research Inc. Board of Directors, Cheryl’s leadership, and with the assistance of HRI’s dedicated staff, the Corporation is well positioned to continue its outstanding history of complementing and enabling the strategic public health goals of the Department of Health and Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
Cheryl and I will do our best to meet with as many of you as possible over the next couple of months.
With gratitude,
Barb
