Greetings,
To comply with NIH’s new policy requiring training for Senior/Key personnel on other support disclosure requirements, HRI has added a new training to the Workday learning section. The training is titled, “NIH Other Support Training” and can be accessed by searching, “NIH Other Support Training” in the Workday search bar. A companion document for this training can be found here: NIH Other Support Disclosure Training – HRI Workday Documentation – HRI Help Site.
Per NIH directive, effective October 1, 2025, all grantees are required to implement training to ensure that Senior/Key Personnel understand their responsibilities related to the disclosure of all resources available to them in support of their research. Additional information regarding this requirement can be found at https://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/notice-files/NOT-OD-25-133.html.
HRI is requesting that all Principal Investigators with an active NIH-funded award or sub-award complete this training by 10/31/2025. The video portion of the training is under five minutes; however, it includes links to several resources that we encourage those required to take the training to review.
Going forward, HRI will begin requiring that this training be completed by all Principal Investigators and Senior/Key Personnel named in NIH applications, Just-In-Time and/or a Research Performance Progress Report (RPPR) submissions.
If you have any questions or require additional information, please contact your Grant Administrator.
Thank you,
Michael A. Saglimbeni
