The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have awarded a grant to Health Research, Inc. to strengthen and expand NYS’s Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP) in order to advance the ongoing battle against the plague of prescription drug misuse. The four priority strategies are: 1) Enhance and maximize the PDMP; 2) Implement health system interventions aimed at preventing prescription drug overdue and abuse; 3) Conduct policy evaluations; and 4) Develop and implement a Rapid Response Project.
